James Tubbs cello bow c.1895

An exceptionally fine cello bow by James Tubbs made c.1895, which coincidentally was the
year of William Ebsworth Hill’s death. Tubbs and Hill had an association which came to an abrupt
and acrimonious end. The engraving on the ferrule ‘W E H’ could be a tribute to a former
friend and business associate?
